Winning Ways Pro International Testing Package
This battery of tests is given to each athlete at the beginning and at the conclusion of their training program. The results listed below are actual results and where noted number expected, indicates the professional player at a comparable position and size.
- Footspeed: defensive slants from foul lane to foul lane in a 30 second time period.
- Takes/Makes: elbow to elbow jump shots, demonstrating quickness of release and accuracy. Drill is 60sec.
- Chair Drill: a full court drill where player has maximum of 4 dribble from foul line to basket, laying the ball up and exploding back to 1 of 4 perimeter spots for outside shots. Must continue drill until all 4 shots are made.
- Foul Shooting: 3 sets of 5 free throws, where by each set is under additional conditions of fatigue.

- Physical & Mental: Very athletic player. Played Division 1 football as wide receiver. Very mentally tough and can handle any situation.
- Ball Skills: Average ball handler in the open floor, half court sets, and under pressure. Needs to continue to work on ability to put the ball on the floor, break down his defender and get to the basket.
- Offense: Very nice stroke. Consistent range up to 22ft. Good spot up shooter, but needs to improve his pull up jumpshot. Moves very well without the ball.
- Rebounding: Excellent rebounding skills for a guard. Good anticipation and positioning. Utilizes his strength and ability to get rebounds.
- Defense: Very aggressive defensive player on and off the ball. Has ability and strength to defend guards and forwards. Good lateral movement allows him to keep his oppenents in front of him.
- Game Knowledge: Very smart player. Knows how to play on offense without the ball. Has knowledge of coming off screens and knows how to create his own shot opportunities (spot up jumpers).
- Strengths: Shooter - good mechanics, ranges, stroke. Athleticism, strength, attitude.
- Opportunities for Improvement: Must continue to work on his ball handling skills (ability to penetrate). Pull up jumpers, and finishing around the basket.
- Overall Comments: Travis has a very good attitude and is very coachable. He will do any and everything his coach asks of him to do. With more polishing on his offensive game, Travis would be an asset to a professional team.
