Tiya maintains mental focus and is very physical for her size. She runs the floor consistently regardless of minutes played. Plays with high energy level on both ends of the floor.

Proficient Ball skills, takes care of the basketball in both the open court as well as closely guarded situations
- Offense:
This is her strongest asset as demonstrated by her court judgement, ability to finish, and knowledge of when to drive and kick. She knows how to finish and is not at all reluctant of contact. Does need to look for the open shots as well as shot creation without the ball.

As a perimeter player she doesn’t have many rebounding opportunities, but does possess a keen sense of anticipation and often comes up with the ball.
