This battery of tests is given to each athlete at the beginning and at the conclusion of their training program. The results listed below are actual results and where noted number expected, indicates the professional player at a comparable position and size.
- Footspeed: defensive slants from foul lane to foul lane in a 30 second time period.
- Takes/Makes: elbow to elbow jump shots, demonstrating quickness of release and accuracy. Drill is 60sec.
- Chair Drill: a full court drill where player has maximum of 4 dribble from foul line to basket, laying the ball up and exploding back to 1 of 4 perimeter spots for outside shots. Must continue drill until all 4 shots are made.
- Foul Shooting: 3 sets of 5 free throws, where by each set is under additional conditions of fatigue.

- Physical & Mental: In-shape, shows no emotion on the court, most continue to work on mental toughness.
- Ball Skills: Needs to assert himself more on the offense side. As a pg, needs to take charge of the offense. Must continue to work on handling the ball in pressure situations.
- Offense: Consistent 15-17ft. jumpers. Has ability to find the open man and pass to his teammates’ strengths. Good court vision. Must continue to work on penetrated to the rim. Quickness of release is a real plus.
- Rebounding: Good elevation, hold box out longer. Work on timing and positioning.
- Defense: Decent on the ball defender, tends to leave too much space on shooters; work on close out defense. Sometimes a step too slow on help side, must work on quicker defensive rotation.
- Game Knowledge: Good court judgment on the offensive side. Must continue to learn the international rules and regulations.
- Strengths: Good condition, foot speed, quickness of release. Consistent mid-range jumper.
