Winning Ways Pro International Testing Package
This battery of tests is given to each athlete at the beginning and at the conclusion of their training program. The results listed below are actual results and where noted number expected, indicates the professional player at a comparable position and size.
Footspeed: defensive slants from foul lane to foul lane in a 30 second time period.
Takes/Makes: elbow to elbow jump shots, demonstrating quickness of release and accuracy. Drill is 60sec.
Chair Drill: a full court drill where player has maximum of 4 dribble from foul line to basket, laying the ball up and exploding back to 1 of 4 perimeter spots for outside shots. Must continue drill until all 4 shots are made.
Foul Shooting: 3 sets of 5 free throws, where by each set is under additional conditions of fatigue.
*There are no breaks during this testing.

| Physical & Mental: In sold physical condition. Has very strong mental approach to the game. Needs to continue to train and add more muscle and size to his frame. |

| Ball Skills: Possesses ability to handle the ball when facing the basket or in the post. Excellent passer out of the low post with good court vision. |

| Offense: Must develop better footwork when in the post and more offensive moves with back to the basket. Consistent shooting range out to 18ft. Soft touch around the basket, but needs to improve his ability to finish in traffic. |

| Rebounding: Excellent offensive rebounder. Utilizes long wingspan to become more effective rebounder on both sides of the floor. Excellent anticipation, positioning and timing. |

| Defense: Needs to be more active on defense and work on his footwork when playing post defense. He is a good shot blocker - keeps the ball in play. However, he must learn when to go for blocks and when to keep his position - part of his court judgment. Defends the pick and roll very well. Must get stronger and utilize his body more in post defense. |

| Game Knowledge: Reads situations very well. Has an understanding of where he needs to be on the floor and when. More game experience will allow him to become more knowledgeable of the international rules and style of play. |
