Winning Ways Pro International Testing Package
This battery of tests is given to each athlete at the beginning and at the conclusion of their training program. The results listed below are actual results and where noted number expected, indicates the professional player at a comparable position and size.
- Footspeed: defensive slants from foul lane to foul lane in a 30 second time period.
- Takes/Makes: elbow to elbow jump shots, demonstrating quickness of release and accuracy. Drill is 60sec.
- Chair Drill: a full court drill where player has maximum of 4 dribble from foul line to basket, laying the ball up and exploding back to 1 of 4 perimeter spots for outside shots. Must continue drill until all 4 shots are made.
- Foul Shooting: 3 sets of 5 free throws, where by each set is under additional conditions of fatigue.

- Physical & Mental: Overall physical condition is strong as evidenced by constant movement without the ball and running the floor in transition.
- Ball Skills: Good Ball Skills in the open floor. Needs to protect the Ball more in closely guarded situations.
- Offense: Movement without the Ball a definite asset. Fundamentally a solid stroke. Does have a tendency to fade away as opposed to staying with the shot. Knows how to use screens on Ball side and weak side resulting in open looks.
- Rebounding: When not at the point, obtains good rebounding positioning. Defensively Boxes out well keeping his man from the Basket.
- Defense: Good defense on the Ball. Needs to work on defending from the helpside.
- Game Knowledge: Overall good knowledge of the game. Needs to continue to develop a better understanding of the International game.
- Strengths: Movement without the Ball. Utilizing screens, mechanically solid stroke especially in catch and shoot situations.
