| Physical & Mental: In excellent physical condition. Mental toughness is a real plus. Shows no emotion on the floor. |
| Ball Skills: Can handle the ball with either his left or right hand effectively around the perimeter and with his back to the basket. Must work on breaking down his defender more with his dribble. Has good court vision; reading the passing lanes well. |
| Offense: Has consistent mid-range shooting range, but needs to extend that range to 23ft. Must continue to improve shot mechanics. Must look to penetrate more and be more effective on the offensive end of the floor. |
| Rebounding: Very effective rebounder for his size and position. Boxes out his man and has excellent positioning and anticipation. |
| Defense: Must continue to work on defense away from the ball and not let his man cut into the lane. Close out defense is solid. Defensive footwork must be quicker and more efficient. |
| Game Knowledge: Has a decent overall understanding of the game. With more training and experience, will develop more of an all around game. Continue to learn the rules and style of play of international basketball. |
| Strengths: Rebounding, Court Vision, Ball handling around the perimeter, Mid Range Jumper. |
| Opportunities for Improvement: Entry pass to the post. Shot mechanics. Shooting range. Defense away from the ball. Penetration inside. More movement without the ball on offense. |
| Overall Comments: Jonathan is a very coachable player. He has good size for a point guard, but lacks the quickness and ball handling skills to play that position on the pro level. With extensive training and work in regards to his outside shot, Jonathan could be an effective combo guard on a low level pro team in the near future. Interacts well with his teammates. |
