In excellent physical condition. Very mentally tough but needs to be sure he keeps his frustrations off the court.

Handles the ball well when penetrating. Must continue to work on handling the ball in closely guarded situations.
- Offense:
Must work on passing skills and not turning the ball over by forcing the ball in traffic or leaving his feet on the pass. Possesses ability to shoot from three point range. Shot mechanics aren’t perfect, but he can make the outside shot when open. Has ability to drive to the basket and finish in traffic. Good mid range jumper (pull up jumper especially).
- Rebounding:
Average rebounder for his height and position.
- Defense:
Very tenacious on the ball defender. Excellent footwork and always stays with his man. Doesn’t gamble and has ability to force his man into turnovers. Must improve defense away from the ball and work on not getting lost due to screen and switches.

Possesses a very solid overall understanding of the game. Take time to learn offensive schemes and drills, but understands the international rules and utilizes them.

- Overall Comments:
Furman improved vastly from the last combine that he attended. He has cut down on the turnovers and his court judgment, although not quite where it needs to be, is much improved. Furman’s outside shot is also much more consistent as he no longer rushes the release. Furman must continue to train and work on his overall offensive game in order to make a lower level pro team.
