This battery of tests is given to each athlete at the beginning and at the conclusion of their training program. The results listed below are actual results and where noted number expected, indicates the professional player at a comparable position and size.
- Footspeed: defensive slants from foul lane to foul lane in a 30 second time period.
- Takes/Makes: elbow to elbow jump shots, demonstrating quickness of release and accuracy. Drill is 60sec.
- Chair Drill: a full court drill where player has maximum of 4 dribble from foul line to basket, laying the ball up and exploding back to 1 of 4 perimeter spots for outside shots. Must continue drill until all 4 shots are made.
- Foul Shooting: 3 sets of 5 free throws, where by each set is under additional conditions of fatigue.
- *There are no breaks during this testing.

- Physical & Mental: Above average physical condition. Needs to continue to incorporate drills in his training in order to enhance his ability to play under conditions of fatigue. Mentally, Edwin is very focused and committed.
- Ball Skills: Throughout the training program, Edwin’s ball skills showed dramatic improvement. Needs to continue to work on ball handling drills in order to further improve.
- Offense: Possesses a quick first step. Above average explosiveness. Additionally, instinctively moves without the basketball. Outstanding foul shooter – both mechanically and his accuracy (*see test results above). Above average pull up shooter as well as shooting off the dribble with consistent range of 20-23ft.
- Rebounding: Anticipates very well and understands rebounding positioning.
- Defense: Edwin maintains excellent defensive balance and quickness; both on and off of the basketball.
