Excellent physical condition. Really plays hard for the entire game with now slowing down or signs of fatigue. Must work on mental toughness and not showing emotion on the floor.
- Ball Skills:
Needs to continue to work on handling the ball with either hand in transition and under pressure defensive pressure situations. Has good court vision, but needs to work on court judgment.
- Offense:
Excellent body control around the basket. Can finish in traffic. Must continue to develop a consistent outside shot. Needs to work on a mid range jumper and extending his shooting range to the three point line.
- Rebounding:
Excellent rebounder for his size. Has great timing and anticipation. Uses his great vertical leap to rebound over taller players.
- Defense:
Plays solid on the ball defense. Needs to utilize his wingspan and speed more when playing defense away from the ball. This will allow him to deny more. Must also work on close out defense.

Has a solid understanding of the game, but must continue to work on learning the international rules and style of play.

Very active all over the floor. Conditioning. Rebounding. Body control. Ability to finish around the basket.

Cortnie is a hustle player that is all over the floor. He has a tremendous vertical leap and rebounds very well for his position. However, Cortnie needs to develop a consistent outside shot in order to play on the pro level.
