• Physical & Mental: Excellent physical condition. Possesses a lot of strength. Good footwork and foot speed. Can be a dominate player. Great size for a 2 guard but can play any position on the floor.
• Ball Skills: Can handle the ball along the perimeter and with her back to the basket with either hand. Must continue to work on ability to bring the ball up the court through traffic and in pressure situations.
• Offense: Creates space for open shots and has terrific body control in the lane. Possesses shooting range out to 25 ft. Can score from anywhere on the court at any time. Great mid range game as well as ability to get into the lane and finish in traffic. Very versatile player on the offensive end of the court.
• Rebounding: Good anticipation and positioning. Excellent timing on the offensive end of the floor allows her to outrebound taller players.
• Defense: Very quick close outs on defense. Can play defense in the post against bigger players and can play on the perimeter against quicker player.
• Game Knowledge: Has a good understanding of the game on both ends, adapted well to the international rules and style of play. Very high basketball IQ.
• Strengths: Offensive Versatility, hard worker at both ends – never takes a play off, solid rebounder, good shooter (excellent range), size.
• Opportunities for Improvement: Needs to continue to learn international rules, but player is fundamental sound in all areas. Must work on shot selection and make sure not to force long range shots.
• Overall Comments: Carin is a terrific overall player on both ends of the floor. She possesses unlimited shooting range and can score from anywhere on the floor. Great player, adapted well to new teammates. Very coachable. Carin is read to play on the pro level immediately.
