Other Info:
- Physical & Mental: In excellent physical condition. Is very mentally tough and doesn’t back down from any challenge. Must work on her footspeed and lateral movement on both sides of the floor.
- Ball Skills: Handles the ball well in the open floor. Needs to develop a quicker dribble in order to penetrate to the basket. Possesses good court vision.
- Offense: Excellent mid range jump. Very good shooting stroke and mechanics. Needs have a quicker release and gain some speed when taking the ball to the basket. Needs to develop more consistent three point range.
- Rebounding: Average rebounder for her height and position.
- Defense: Solid defender. Plays good defense away from ball in denying her opponent any space. Good close out defense as well. Uses long wingspan to cut off passing lanes.
- Game Knowledge: Has an overall solid knowledge of the game, but is not too familiar with the pro level. Must continue to learn the international rules and style of play.
- Strengths: Mid range jumper. Court vision. Defense away from the ball.
- Opportunities for Improvement: Quickness: she needs to get quicker and develop a way to take the ball to the basket more effectively. Work on explosiveness. Shot creation.
- Overall Comments: Angel is a very coachable player that interacts well with her teammates. She needs to work on her explosiveness and extend her shooting range out to the three point line. She does possess good court vision and can get her teammates involved on the offensive end. Angel has room to grow as a pro player, but with hard work she could get there.
